Do you ever have those moments when you look at your life and realize how different your life turned out from the way you planned it but how you couldn't be happier??
It's funny because when I was a teenager I always thought that when I grew up I would be a housewife, with 4 kiddos in a huge house and the newest cars and electronics married to a tall dark haired man who left all the household stuff to me. I have the exact opposite and I am so glad.
I work full time and I love what I do. I only have the one son, a small house, hubbies car is 16 years old and mine is 8, and the hubby and I share everything with the household. Oh yeah and my hubby is 1/2 an inch shorter than me and he's a ginger :)
I have realized over the years that sometimes life just takes you where you need to go. Not that I didn't make choices on my own, but sometimes stuff just happens. If I hadn't gone to Italy with my dad and fallen in love with travel, if we chose to have a bigger wedding instead of a 3 week honeymoon in California for the hubby to fall in love with travel, if we chose to buy the house with double the mortgage, etc etc. Everyones opinion of happiness is different and there is nothing wrong with that. Find whatever makes you happy and that will be different for every person and family. Never be afraid to try something new and never let someones judgments effect the way you live you life
