I have been hit by the bug of travel big time. We don't have any trips to plan this year and it is driving me bonkers!!! Is there such a thing as an addiction to travel?
Not only do I love to travel but I love the whole planning process. Finding the perfect hotel, snatching up the plane tickets for a great deal, figuring out which sites to see. I love all of it. I think my calling in live was to be a travel agent.
We are hoping to take three trips next year, one to Disneyland, one to Disney World and one to Europe, so I have been doing a ton of research on those three. I have my budgets all planned out and I have the hotels picked for both Disney trips. My travel notebook is full of places to stay and things to see, and what I need to buy before the trips. It feels kind of pathetic because 1)we don't even have the time off and we don't even know if we can get the time off 2)the two Disney trips are dependent on if we get registered for the half marathons and they don't even open for a few more months 3)most people think I'm crazy, but honestly thats all ok with me.
We are really hoping that we can get 3 weeks off next June or July and spend a week in Paris and then two weeks on a Canal boat in England. We have been to England and Paris before and we loved it and I really want to go back. We are really hoping that we can get the time off for it. I have been doing a ton of research on canal boats, hotels, things to do, cost of food at Tesco and Sainsbury and of course the cost of clothes because who doesn't love a new wardrobe from Europe!! We have been to Europe before but we have never done a canal boat(other than staying on one that was immobile) so if anyone has any tips please let me know. We really want to take the canal to Cadbury World so we are trying to plan around that.
Does anyone else have this problem or is it just me?
